Watching Chani call a sand worm at the end of dune really did something to me… like she just accomplished a planetary military coup which ended with her boyfriend getting engaged to another girl and she’s just calling her Uber home and trying to hold back tears… like I’ve been there and i understand how she feels even though her exact experience is clearly so far from mine, that’s fucking cinema!!! Heartbreak feels good in a place like this…
